ABOUT THE ARTIST

Madeline is inspired by movement, femininity, polarities, childlike play, and whimsy. Her work was born out of a passion for art and a desire to share the joy and playfulness of creativity with others.

Drawing on a range of influences, including NYC ballet composer George Balanchine, American abstract painter Cy Twombly, as well as Hawaiian slack key musician Israel Kamakawiwo’ole - Madeline developed a style that is both whimsical and dynamic.

In her exploration of classical and modern gender identity, Madeline is dedicated to expressing the complex polarities between the masculine and feminine dynamics that shape our world.  With bold lines and contrasting colors, she creates a unique tension and polarity in her work that mimics this dynamic. There is also a deeper layer of softness that can be found in the curves and delicate details that enrich the canvases, adding a touch of grace and elegance to each design.

Another layer to Madeline's work is her belief that creativity is a natural form of play, and that art has the power to transport us back to a state of childlike wonder and curiosity. This belief is reflected in her playful and whimsical designs, which are intended to bring joy and happiness to those who experience them.

Since her official debut in 2016, Madeline has gained a following for her unique style and has become popular with those who appreciate the art of playfulness and grace, as well as the beauty of femininity.

Today, Madeline continues to evolve and grow, with a commitment to her work exploring playfulness, whimsy, and femininity. She is sure to inspire and delight for years to come.
